Tennessee Titans – Cornerback

The Tennessee Titans are in a tough situation, as their secondary needs an upgrade but the NFL free agent market doesn’t offer many. However, they have cap space, so they can properly address it. Morris Claiborne would be an excellent guy to gamble on, assuming he’s looking for a one year deal to prove last season wasn’t a fluke. The Titans aren’t too far from contending and adding a solid corner would do a lot to help them. Claiborne’s an understandable risk, but anytime you can solve a need for cheap, that’s a net gain. More moves are needed to fix the secondary, but this might be the best one.

Washington Redskins – Larry Warford

Few teams are desperate enough to give a serious look to offensive guard Larry Warford. He’s very talented, but has been trending downwards since his excellent rookie season. Despite this, Warford is an at worst slightly above average guard. The Washington Redskins have four solid offensive linemen, but need a left guard. Warford seems like a typical Scot McCloughan move. He fills a need and he likely does it at a very reasonable price. The Redskins have other issues, but signing Warford at the right price gives them more money to address other needs.
