Miami Dolphins – Ronald Leary

The NFL free agency market isn’t filled with guards, much to the dismay of the Miami Dolphins. They are likely going to have to replace two starting guards. Even from an optimistic stand point, the Dolphins would be lucky to draft a guard ready to start in 2017. Ronald Leary of the Dallas Cowboys would make a lot of sense. He’s not outstanding, but he’s a very solid guard who can hold his own against pass rushers. Miami has to beef up their offensive line. Adding Leary would be a good start.

Minnesota Vikings – Ricky Wagner

As mentioned, the 2017 NFL free agency market is a rough one for tackles. Teams are going to have to overpay for talent. After last season, it would be surprising if the Minnesota Vikings aren’t one of the teams willing to pony up. Ricky Wagner is a very good right tackle, especially at protecting the quarterback. No matter who the Vikings quarterback is in 2017, he’s going to be an injury prone one. Keeping him upright will be key and Wagner could certainly be a part of the solution.

New England Patriots – Dont’a Hightower

The New England Patriots typically don’t spend much in free agency. They like their guys and draft very well, giving them efficient replacements for just about anyone. However, the Patriots can’t afford to lose one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL, Dont’a Hightower. New England likes to pay to keep their stars and everyone else is interchangeable. As the leader of their defense, Hightower is an example of the former and not the latter.
