Adoree' Jackson

CB, USC

The New England Patriots won their fifth Super Bowl in February, as quarterback Tom Brady led the team back from 25 points down in the second half. While the game was nothing short of a miracle, the fact that the Pats were even in the game is incredibly impressive. Brady missed a quarter of the season due to suspension, and somehow, the Patriots were able to win three of those games with Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett under center.

The Pats did so many thing right in 2016, as even after they traded their star lineback Jamie Collins, they were able to be a dominant team on defense. In 2017, the Patriots do not need to add too many pieces, but a player like Adoree’ Jackson would fit in perfectly in New England. Jackson has the ability to do so many things on a football field, and head coach Bill Belichick is the best possible coach for a player like him.

New England is likely to be right back in the thick of things next season, and bringing in a cornerback of Jackson’s ability is going to make the secondary a strength once again. The Pats will likely lose Logan Ryan to free agency this offseason, so replacing him has to be high on the list. Belichick is a master at getting the most out of all of his players, and Jackson would give him a nice canvas to work with.
