Howard Wilson

Cornerback, Houston

Howard Wilson was supposed to go as high as William Jackson. Then, he tore an ACL and had to miss the rest of his 2015 season. He showed well in 2016, may have lost a step in acceleration, and has questionable lower body strength. Still, he brings great ball skills and is a potential starter in the long term. Between him and Moreau, the Jets should be able to find at least one NFL starter.

191

Lorenzo Jerome

Safety, St. Francis (PA)

Jerome is a bit undersized but is instinctive and it showed on his tape. Being a small school guy, he is going to fall this far and can be looked at as a special teams contributor. The Jets need depth in the secondary, and with Jerome, you are getting a guy who should be bringing energy in practice every day.

Tashawn Bower

Edge, LSU

More of a true pass rusher to potential rotate in for snaps on the defensive line. He is a bit small to be a 4-3 defender but can rush the passer, and at the worst case is another special teams name.
