Robert Woods: Agrees with Los Angeles Rams

The Rams desperately needed to add a weapon to help Jared Goff, but this wasn’t the right decision. After losing Kenny Britt to the Cleveland Browns earlier in the morning, general manager Les Snead panicked and agreed to a large contract with a bit player.

The guaranteed money isn’t awful, but the years and total value mean it’s likely a three-year deal in essence. Why spend that kind of currency for a player who has never topped 699 yards in a season? At this point, the Rams are no better than they were 24 hours ago, just more expensive.

DeSean Jackson: Agrees with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers finished 9-7 last year, and are looking to beef up for a playoff push in 2017. In that vein, general manager Jason Licht is beginning free agency in aggressive fashion, reportedly agreeing to terms with star receiver DeSean Jackson.

Jackson, 30, has five 1,000-yard seasons in his career, including 2016. After spending six years in Philadelphia and three with Washington, Jackson now unites with Jameis Winston and Mike Evans, making Tampa Bay’s offense even more formidable.
