Alshon Jeffery: Agrees with Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired one of the most talented receivers in the league, reportedly coming to terms with Alshon Jeffery. Jeffery palyed on the franchise tag last year with the Chicago Bears, a year that was cut short with suspension. All told, he caught 52 passes for 821 yards in 12 games.

At 27 years old, Philadelphia will get the prime of Jeffery’s career. The only concern is injury, which has cost the former South Carolina star 13 games throughout his tenure in Chicago. All that said, a one-year deal for a talent such as Jeffery’s is a terrific move.

Riley Reiff: Agrees with Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings made sure to fill the hole left by Matt Kalil, coming to terms with Riley Reiff. Reiff spent the first five years of his career with the Detroit Lions after being a first round pick out of the University of Iowa.

While the details of the contract aren’t out yet, the Vikings are getting a quality, young player. Reiff isn’t going to make an All-Pro team, but he’ll also do a better job of keeping Sam Bradford on the field than anybody who played in Minnesota last year.
