Jake Butt

Tight End, Michigan

Tight ends love playing for Hue Jackson. Wherever he has gone, tight ends have been a primary focus on his offense. The Cleveland Browns can get a future starter in Jake Butt here in the fourth round. His injuries will likely kill his draft stock, but if his medicals check out, he could be ready to contribute as early as 2017. But ideally, Gary Barnidge holds down the fort, allowing Butt to develop and grow into a starting role.

Zach Banner

Guard, USC

Zach Banner is a physical freak. He’s listed at 6-foot-8 and 353 pounds. Strength is Banner’s calling card and he has the physical attributes everyone looks for in a guard. The Cleveland Browns need to add a guard, so they should take a chance on Banner. Signing one in free agency will be the short-term fix, but this guard could be a long-term option.

While Banner spent his college career as a tackle, his size makes him more of a guard candidate. Being a tackle helped him improve his footwork, but probably not enough to stick as a starter in the NFL. In a pinch, he could fill in at right tackle. Banner’s a developmental pick, but his upside is huge. At this stage in the draft, the Browns should be looking for upside. Banner has it.
