Corey Davis

WR, Western Michigan

The Arizona Cardinals should be pretty explosive offensively in 2017, as starting quarterback Carson Palmer has announced he will return for at least one more season. With Larry Fitzgerald coming back, and a healthy David Johnson, the Cardinals should find themselves back in the playoffs after a one-year hiatus. The Cards also made a four-year commitment to tight end Jermaine Gresham, putting the pieces in place for a run in a very winnable NFC West.

In addition to the moves made on the offensive side of the ball, the Cardinals made sure that linebacker Chandler Jones would be back for the 2017 NFL season. With one of the better cornerbacks in the league in Patrick Peterson, the Cards should be able to get stops as well. With the loss of Michael Floyd last season, the Cards had a void at wide receiver, and they should draft one with the No. 13 pick in April.

Corey Davis is one of the best wide receivers in this class, and some publications have him rated at the first overall. While we like Mike Williams to be the first off the board, that does not mean that Davis is not going to be a terrific pro. Davis can burn cornerbacks deep, go over the middle, and has the size and speed to be a breakout player at the next level. Look for him to be a big part of the offense if the Cards take him at 13.
