DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 20
High Salary PF
Dario Saric – Philadelphia 76ers ($7800): I love Saric tonight against the Magic, who have difficulty defending and rebounding the ball. Saric has gone for 50 or more FP in two of his last four games and I love the matchup tonight, even against a decent defender in Aaron Gordon. I also like that Saric has taken 20 shots in three of his last four games. He’s the man in Philly, and I look for him to fill out the stat sheet tonight.
Robert Covington – Philadelphia 76ers ($6800): I told you earlier I love Covington tonight for the same reasons I like Dario Saric — the Magic are not good at defense nor rebounding. I’ll be stacking him with Saric and hope that both exceed value and have big games. As I mentioned before, I’m predicting a double-double tonight from Covington against Orlando and love that his salary is back below $7K.
Blake Griffin – Los Angeles Clippers ($8100): The Knicks are hot garbage, and Blake is due not only for a double-double but also for a big game. He’s missed a double-double in his last three games and you have to figure that he will certainly break that streak tonight against the Knicks. It doesn’t hurt that he had 54.5 FP against them last time, and he can also be rostered at center. I like the idea of stacking Blake and CP3 tonight.
Carmelo Anthony – New York Knicks ($8200): Melo had one of his better games of the season against the Clippers in their previous meeting, putting up 28 and 9 for a total of 47.75 FP. But as I mentioned earlier, if I’m spending $8K plus on a player tonight it’s probably going to be someone other than Melo. However, these teams combined for 234 points in their last game, which is 17 points more than the Vegas total for tonight. Can Melo hit 50 tonight. That’s about what he needs to hit value.
