High Value PF

Ersan Ilyasova – Atlanta Hawks ($5000): Ilyasova can fill it up in a hurry and with Paul Millsap out he will get ample opportunity to do so. He went off for 37 FP against Portland in his last game and tonight goes up against the Hornets, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to power forwards this season. You can also put him at center, and with Bazemore also out, he should continue to see double-digit shot attempts.

Matt Barnes – Golden State Warriors ($4300): It’s a light night for value at the power forward position, but Barnes has been solid in his new role for the Warriors. Steve Kerr has given Barnes more minutes than Patrick McCaw recently and that seems unlikely to change. Until Kevin Durant returns to action, Barnes looks like a decent value play at either small or power forward.

Kenneth Faried – Denver Nuggets ($4500): Faried has done well in his first two games back since returning from injury with fantasy point totals of 28 and 21. His playing time ramped up a bit to 23 minutes against Houston in his last game, and we know he has a high ceiling. That last game didn’t come close to the Vegas total. If it does tonight guys like Faried and Juancho will have higher scores.

Juancho Hernangomez – Denver Nuggets ($4500): Both Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari will be out again for Denver, so Juancho should see close to the 28 minutes he saw against Houston in his last game. He posted 25.75 against the Rockets that night and he gets to face them again tonight. Kenneth Faried is back and had a nice game, but Juancho should still see solid minutes.
