Bournemouth: Lys Mousset

A lanky, tall forward, Lys Mousset has a ton of potential. Despite not getting that much playing time under Eddie Howe, Mousset is still a prospect worth keeping an eye on. Mousset scored 14 goals in 34 appearances for French club Le Havre. He has a record of scoring goals consistently when playing consistently. Former USMNT coach Bob Bradley used Mousset in more of a classic striker role, rather than a winger.

Mousset is a flexible goal scorer, able to score from a multitude of positions around the goal. His best position, like a lot of young players, is yet to be determined, but his pace will make him a danger whether he’s playing through the middle or out wide. His inconsistent hold-up play and impatience in possession have prevented him getting more playing time.

Unfortunately, with the lack of opportunity at Bournemouth we haven’t been able to properly judge the player against top flight competition. If the opportunity doesn’t come at Bournemouth, it should come somewhere else. The Frenchman has too much talent not to get a chance somewhere.
