High Salary PF

James Johnson – Miami Heat ($6300): You could clearly see the difference in Johnson’s usage when Dion Waiters sits. Johnson was dominating until Waiters came back from injury, then his numbers dipped once Waiters returned. So it wasn’t a surprise to me that Johnson has gone off for over 83 FP over his last two games. Tonight he gets the Phoenix Suns and I’m loving JJ in a stack with Dragic and perhaps some other Heat players. It seems chalky, but that isn’t always a bad thing.

Blake Griffin – Los Angeles Clippers ($8000): Griffin didn’t go as high as I had hoped last night but still finished with 45.5 FP. He played last night but Blake actually has better shooting percentage and points per game on the second half of back to back games. He also gets the Lakers tonight and he’s yet to play them this year. Blowout potential looms, but I still will have some Blake in my lineups, and you can put him at center, too.

Dirk Nowitzki – Dallas Mavericks ($6200): Dirk had a lousy game against the Dubs earlier in the season, but that was back in December before he got rolling. It’s a tough matchup tonight against Golden State but if Dirk gets his 15 to 17 shots he should be able to hit value. I expect around 35 for the big man tonight.

Tobias Harris – Detroit Pistons ($6000): As I mentioned earlier in the piece, Harris will be the starter at power forward for the rest of the season and tonight he gets an excellent matchup against the Nets. Harris had 33.5 against them earlier in the season and I suspect this game will go over the Vegas total of 214. Look for Tobias to be close to 40 tonight against the lowly Nets.
