15. Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC

One of just nine two-time consensus All-Americans in USC history, Jarrett racked up huge stats from 2004-2007 as an important piece of the dynamic Trojans’ offense.

Jarrett came out of New Brunswick High School in New Jersey as one of the top recruits in the country after recording 21 receiving touchdowns plus five punt returns for scores in just 15 attempts as a senior. While much of Carroll’s dynasty was built on local recruits, he managed to lure Jarrett away from the East Coast, a move that paid off immediately.

With star Mike Williams graduating prior to the 2004 season, Jarrett took on a starting role as a freshman and racked up 55 catches for 849 yards and 13 touchdowns. Jarrett was nearly unstoppable over the next two seasons with a combined 2,289 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Upon leaving for the 2007 NFL Draft, Jarrett owned a USC school record with 216 receptions and was the Pac-10’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions with 41. Jarrett was a unanimous All-American both seasons and was named MVP of the 2007 Rose Bowl win over Michigan with a career-best 203 yards and two scores.

Despite the impressive stats, Jarrett slipped to the second round after forgoing his senior year, and accumulated only 35 receptions for the Carolina Panthers before heading to the CFL.
