The Warriors are blowing a 3-1 lead ‘everywhere you look’ now that it’s been given the Full House opening credits treatment

Once upon a time, you could argue that Full House might’ve been more important or prominent in the city of San Francisco and the Bay Area than the Golden State Warriors. With the emergence of Stephen Curry and then the arrival of Kevin Durant, though, that’s not so much been the case as all eyes or on Golden. That was unfortunate for them last June, though, as they met the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals. In case you didn’t know, the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.

At this point, every Warriors fan (and even some that aren’t fans) are tired of the phrase. But alas, it’s the sports meme that will never die. And the reason that it won’t rest in peace is because people keep coming up with terrific ways to troll the Warriors over the collapse.

The latest example could be impossible to top, though.

On Thursday, Matt Mamba uploaded a video to Twitter that took “the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead” to new heights. Those heights just so happened to be recreating the Full House opening credits with Golden State’s collapse instead of Bob Saget and John Stamos. The results are impeccable:

Catch your breath; I’m sure you need to after going through that minute of your life laughing hysterically. The Skip Bayless jab at the end really does you in after you’ve already been chuckling.

Even if Golden State were to defeat the Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals, and even if they too came back from being 3-1 down so that Cleveland blew a 3-1 lead, I’m still not sure the “Warriors blew a 3-1 lead” memes would subside. It’s been almost a year and they’re somehow getting better. Now it’s the wait-and-see game to see if anything will top the Full House intro treatment.
