High Value PG

Rajon Rondo – Chicago Bulls ($6200): Rondo has finally settled into the starting point guard role for the Bulls and he’s been playing excellent ball during the second half. He’s shooting 48 percent from the floor and 47 percent from long range during that span, and he’s averaging four more points per game. Tonight he gets a super-spicy matchup against the 76ers, a team he’s averaged 33 FP in just 23 minutes over two contests. There’s never been a better time this season to play Rondo.

Lou Williams – Houston Rockets ($5100): Sweet Lou is in another shooting slump going 0-9 from three-point land since his mammoth 53.5 revenge masterpiece against the Lakers. He always shakes it off, it’s just a matter of when. Tonight against the Pels seems like a decent bet for him to do that. He had 12 shots and 31 minutes last game against them. Give him that again tonight and he’ll be back over 30 FP.

Ish Smith – Detroit Pistons ($4800): The Ish Smith/Reggie Jackson soap opera continues on, and with Detroit on the hunt for a playoff spot Stan Van Gundy has gone back to Smith as his starting point guard. Smith can put up fantasy points in big bursts, and he did just that down the stretch against the Nets the other night. I look for him to be back over 30 FP tonight.

Jeremy Lin – Brooklyn Nets ($5600): The word came down late yesterday that Lin would play and play “significant minutes.” Today, thirty percent of DFS players are labeling that fake news. Lin played just 21 minutes against the Suns and put up 23.75 FP, much below value and certainly so against a defense like Phoenix. Still, Lin can also put up fantasy points in big bursts and we know his ceiling is high. His minutes should be higher tonight, but at this point it’s completely unknown.
