High Value SG

Lou Williams – Houston Rockets ($5100): Shooting slump don’t last forever, and Sweet Lou has already proven that this year. Tonight against the Pels seems like a decent bet for him to get back to form. He had 12 shots and 31 minutes last game against them. Give him that again tonight and he’ll be back over 30 FP.

Denzel Valentine – Chicago Bulls ($4400): Valentine has been fantastic in the second half of the season since the trade of Doug McDermott. He’s averaged 24 FP per game over his last five and tonight he will get big minutes against the Sixers, which almost always translates into solid production.

Nic Stauskas – Philadelphia 76ers ($4200): Stauskas is back to coming off the bench, but he’s also played 30 or more minutes in three straight games. He’s fared well against the Bulls this season with an average of 26.5 per game. 30 FP isn’t out of the question tonight, especially if Timothy Luwawu-Cabarrot continues to struggle.

Paul Zipser – Chicago Bulls ($3800): The Bulls look like they finally hit on some decent draft picks in both Valentine and Zipser, who has moved into the starting lineup with Dwyane Wade done for the season. He’s averaged close to 30 FP over his last two outings and will get heavy run against the lousy Sixers defense tonight at home. He should hit value tonight and seems to be getting more and more comfortable on the floor with his increased playing time.

Archie Goodwin – Brooklyn Nets ($3100): A friend told me to recommend Goodwin yesterday but I chickened out from that, as well as from playing him. He got just eight minutes of playing time yesterday but still managed to produce 20.75 FP. He had a similar outing against Detroit in the previous game, putting up 24.25 FP in just 18 minutes. He’s an interesting play tonight, but his minutes look to be limited.
