High Value PF

Marquese Chriss – Phoenix Suns ($5900): Chriss has really come on of late and justifying his slot as the eighth overall pick in last year’s draft. He had 45.25 last game and has been getting it done against some tough defenses, too. Tonight he goes up against the poor rebounding Celtics, a team he’s already had success against this year. He’s still a GPP-only play in my opinion, but if he stays out of foul trouble he can go for some big totals.

Nikola Mirotic – Chicago Bulls ($5400): Mirotic is a completely volatile play. He’ll have games like his last one against Detroit where he goes off for 46.75 FP, but then also 10 FP duds like the one he posted against Utah. He should enjoy the matchup against the Sixers tonight, but like Chriss he is strictly a GPP play in my opinion.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson – Brooklyn Nets ($4400): Speaking of volatile plays, RHJ can boost your lineup into a winning one when he goes for 8-10x value, but like Mirotic he is also prone to some duds. But he sure can go for big numbers in a hurry. He played just 15 minutes against Phoenix last night and shot a horrific 2-for-10 from the field, but he pulled down 16 rebounds and ended up with 33 FP. He’s a risky play, but one that can go big on any given night.

Amir Johnson – Boston Celtics ($3700): Amir has been steadily receiving 21-27 minutes of playing time over the last six games. If he gets that tonight against Phoenix than he should exceed value. He had 36 FP against them in their previous meeting this year and he could dominate the boards tonight.
