High Salary PG

John Wall, WAS vs BKN ($10,000): Wall had a stretch recently where he was struggling by his standards amidst news that he was dealing with a sore knee, but he has still averaged 20.7 points, 10.3 assists and 2.2 steals in his last six games. On Friday, he faces a Nets team on the second half of a back-to-back that has struggled against opposing point guards on the season, even if they’ve done a bit better of late. ****

Isaiah Thomas ($8500) and Tyler Ulis($6200), BOS vs PHO: Thomas and Ulis match up again in a battle of the two smallest starting point guards in the NBA. Ulis has averaged a double-double in his five starts, 13.6 points with 10 assists and 1.8 steals. Thomas is getting back in the groove after some missed time, and has averaged 25 points with 4.5 assists and 2.0 boards in his last two games. Both have good match-ups against undersized point guards that aren’t great at defense. ****, each

Ricky Rubio ($7400), and D’Angelo Russell ($6500), MIN at LAL: Rubio has averaged 16.8 points, 10.6 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in his last five games and has a match-up against a Lakers team that has allowed the most fantasy points to point guards in the last 10 games. Russell has moved back into the Lakers starting line-up at shooting guard, played one transcendent and one good game in that role, and on Friday faces a Timberwolves defense that has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to shooting guards in the last five games. ***** Rubio, **** Russell
