High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at HOU ($12,900): Westbrook has actually gone three games without notching a 60-fantasy-point game, almost unheard of, but he is still averaging 60.9 fantasy points with a min of 34.1 and a max of 83.9 in his last 10 games. On Sunday, he’ll be tasked with keeping up with the high octane Rockets offense against a defense that has allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to point guards in the last 10 games. ***

Isaiah Thomas, BOS vs MIA ($8600): Sometimes, caliber of play and pricing overcomes match-up when making a rec. That happened here, on two fronts. Chris Paul is a better option than Thomas in a vacuum, but he’s had some questionable games lately, is on the second half of a back-to-back and facing an opponent that his team should really blow out. Dragic has a better match-up on paper than Thomas, but Thomas has been outplaying him solidly and their prices are too similar on Sunday. Thus, Thomas gets the rec here fresh off of a 44.9 fantasy point effort in his last outing, even against a strong Heat defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to point guards in the last 10 games. ***

Jeff Teague, IND vs PHI ($7400): Teague has averaged 29.9 fantasy points with a min of 21.8 and a max of 38.5 in his last 10 games, but has picked it up to average 35.0 in his last five outings. On Sunday, he faces a 76ers defense that has allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to opposing point guards in the last 10 games. ***
