High Salary C

Rudy Gobert – Utah Jazz ($8000): Gobert has just been great in March and he’s coming off three great games: 49, 63, and 55 FP. Utah is not good at rebounding, they give up a lot of points, and DeMarcus Cousins might sit again tonight. He’s averaged 44 against them in two previous games, and there’s no steadier center right now than Gobert.

Nikola Vucevic – Orlando Magic ($7800): Vuccy has been getting it done of late and he’s gone for 48 or more FP in four of his last six games. His home/road splits are virtually identical, so there’s no need for concern there. He hasn’t dominated against Toronto this year but I feel Vuccy will be close to a 50-burger tonight against ex-teammate Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas.

Kristaps Porzingis – New York Knicks ($7400): You can play Taps at either power forward or center, and he has averaged about 43 FP per game against Detroit this season. He had 45 against them in their last game. He is at home tonight, and he does shoot it at a better percentage in New York. We also don’t if Carmelo will play, so Taps could be in for a huge usage night. With Anthony Davis up against Utah, Porzingis is a great play at either eligible position.

Kevin Love – Cleveland Cavaliers ($7300): As I mentioned earlier, the minutes are there now for Love as he played 33 in the loss to Washington. Love couldn’t find his shot against the tough San Antonio defense in the first game, but it will be interesting to see how he does tonight. At some point you know Love will drop a 50+ plus game, and while the Spurs don’t seem like the right opponent, not many will be surprised if he does.
