High Value PG

Tony Parker – San Antonio Spurs ($4000): Cleveland’s woes in defending the point guard position are well-known. Parker will get the start tonight and if he gets 25 minutes he could exceed value. He played 30 minutes against Memphis last week and this is a similar type of game against a top contender. At just $4K, Parker will get his share of points and seems like a very safe play tonight.

Delon Wright – Toronto Raptors ($3000): I can’t say with certainty that Wright is going to get steady minutes tonight, but he’s received exactly 24 in three of his last four games. He’s averaged about 25 FP per game over his last two and his salary remains at the minimum. Orlando is in the bottom ten against opposing point guards so if Wright gets minutes he will indeed be an excellent value play tonight.

J.J. Barea – Dallas Maverick ($4000): Barea has not produced great fantasy numbers since his return from injury, but he has taken minutes away from Yogi Ferrell. You’d think Carlisle would want the gritty, gutty Barea out there more tonight against Russell Westbrook, and the increased pace of play would help Barea put more fantasy points on the board.

Tim Frazier – New Orleans Pelicans ($3400): Frazier is again getting quality minutes with New Orleans since Buddy Hield was traded to the Kings, as they moved Jrue Holiday to shooting guard. He had 27.5 FP against Denver yesterday but he was provided a bit more usage with DeMarcus Cousins sitting out with an ankle injury. It’s an interesting play mostly due to the low salary, but if Cousins is back I’m not a big fan of this play.
