High Value PF

Tobias Harris – Detroit Pistons ($6000): As I mentioned earlier, Harris has a killer matchup tonight against the Knicks. He’s simply gone off on the Knicks this season with two games over 45 FP and an average of 43.75 per game over three contests. It’s apparent he loves the matchup and he’s coming off a couple of duds, so chances are he’s low-owned tonight.

Dirk Nowitzki – Dallas Mavericks ($6900): Dirk posted a double-double of 18 and 13 against the Thunder in his last game against them, good for 40 FP. He hasn’t hit 30 or more in his last three games, but he had tough defensive matchups in Toronto, Golden State, and the Clippers. The sledding gets easier tonight against the Thunder, and the pace picks up dramatically too. Dirk makes for an excellent value play tonight, although he can no longer be played at center.

P.J. Tucker – Toronto Raptors ($4400): I noted earlier that Tucker has been outstanding for Toronto since coming over in the trade with Phoenix. You could make the case that they are better off with him in the lineup than Carroll. Tucker has been crashing the boards recently and has three straight games of 25 or more FP. Demarre Carroll might sit out tonight (or any night, really) so Tucker could make for an excellent value play if that’s the case, and he can be played at small forward or power forward.
