High Value PG

Jeremy Lin – Brooklyn Nets ($5900): Lin gets to go up against the porous Philly defense tonight and he’s coming off a 40.5 FP performance against Atlanta in his last game. We all know Lin is capable of putting up 40 on the regular, it’s just a matter of getting minutes and being healthy. He has both of those in his favor tonight, as well as a good matchup.

Kris Dunn – Minnesota Timberwolves ($3300): Tom Thibodeau has turned to his young point guard more and more recently. Here are Dunn’s minutes in his last three games: 29, 35, 24. He’s made the most of the playing time and even topped 30 FP against the Lakers, then came back for 28 more against the Blazers. Brandon Rush did not see more than 18 minutes in any of those three games, so Dunn looks like an excellent value play again tonight.

T.J. McConnell – Philadelphia 76ers ($5500): Sergio Rodriguez is questionable for tonight’s game and if he is out I assume McConnell will get at least 30 minutes on the floor. If he gets that much run against Jeremy Lin and the Nets you can expect good things to happen for him. They are on the road in Brooklyn but McConnell posts much better numbers on the road.

Ish Smith – Detroit Pistons ($5000): The Pistons are apparently considering the complete shut down of Reggie Jackson yet they are just 1.5 games out of the playoffs in the East. Stan Van Gundy is not a fan of the former Thunder guard. Expect Ish to get major run tonight and although the matchup is tough I think he gets to value simply based on volume tonight.
