High Salary SF

Kawhi Leonard – San Antonio Spurs ($9900): Kawhi had 54.75 FP against the Dubs earlier this season and tonight he will benefit from the fast pace of the Warriors. Good luck to Patrick McCaw and Matt Barnes tonight. Kawhi is about to drop a 60-burger on them tonight.

Carmelo Anthony – New York Knicks ($6700): Melo needed a break and he got it. He’s been battling an injury but came back to play well against Detroit with 37.25 FP. His salary has dipped to $6700, and while Miami is tough defensively, Melo dropped almost 45 FP on them earlier in the season, and he’s a much better player at home in New York. If you don;t want to spend up to get Kawhi, Melo finally seems like a decent alternative again.

Jae Crowder – Boston Celtics ($6200): Crowder has been playing very well of late. He had 42 FP against the Heat in his last game and he also popped off for a 40+ game just about a week ago. Tonight he gets the Bucks, who played last night and a team that he did well against earlier in the year. Khris Middleton seems a bit off with his shot and perhaps he is hitting a wall. Crowder won’t go off for 50 but his floor won’t kill you and he’s always a decent shot at getting to 6x value.

Robert Covington – Philadelphia 76ers ($6900): Covington crashed the boards last night and ended up with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. He has another solid matchup tonight against Atlanta even with Kent Bazemore back in the lineup. I prefer the three above to Covey, but he has a high ceiling and is always a threat to post a big number.
