The newest trailer for Injustice 2 is all about the bad guys. Get a better look at characters like Gorilla Grodd and Bane.

We’re less than two months away from the release of Injustice 2. Throughout the time leading up to its release, we’ve seen plenty of announcements and gameplay footage. It’s not surprising, but this game looks awesome. The newest trailer, It’s Good To Be Bad, delivers even more awesomeness.

This new trailer is about the bad guys. If you played the first game in the series, Injustice: Gods Among Us, then you know it’s basically Mortal Kombat with a DC Comics superhero skin. They play mostly the same when it comes to certain gameplay mechanics and the visuals are extremely similar.

You also know you have the opportunity of not only playing as superheroes, but villains. In this trailer, the focus is on Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Captain Cold, and Scarecrow. At its core, this game is all about multiplayer, whether you’re playing online or locally with friends. However, the single-player story mode was extremely underrated in the first game. This one is looking even better.

Check out the trailer below:

In this game, Superman’s Regime is in shambles. This gives many other heroes and villains the opportunity to rise up and take over. A villainous new group known as The Society is created and their main purpose is world domination. In the process, they plan on getting rid of any hero who stands in their way.

We believe that these four villains are a central part of The Society. Aside from the story, what’s unique about these characters is their play style. Depending on the type of player you are, each of them will cater to how you want to fight.

For example, Gorilla Grodd seems like the fighter to get right into your face and do damage. However, Scarecrow likes to maintain distance and use a hook move to close the distance while maintaining his range.

From a variety of different combinations, to simply how you choose to play the game, each of these four are vastly different. The best part is there are many other fighters to choose from on the roster.

Injustice 2 launches on May 16, 2017.
