No. 8: Chris Jericho (WWE)

Twitter handle: @IAmJericho

I’m going to try and not make The List here, so we’re going to tell you why Chris Jericho is No. 8 on this particular list.

There’s a few reasons why Jericho is a top-10 Twitter follow: he’s the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah, he’s the Sexy Pinata, he’s the 61-Minute Man and he’s hilarious.

Just drink it in, maaaaaaan.

Jericho is wonderful. Not only has he promoted a shirt that says “YOU’RE A STUPID IDIOT”, his Twitter bio opens with “46 years of maximum tomfoolery”. First off, that’s accurate and secondly, who uses tomfoolery these days? That’s fantastic. I honestly don’t know the last time I heard someone use that word. It’s been years.

(He also has a podcast called “Talk Is Jericho” on the PodcastOne Network that you should probably listen to. Roman Reigns will be his guest on Friday before WrestleMania, so tune in to that.)

Y2J has had everyone on his podcast that you can think of: Mick Foley, Rusev and Lana, Kevin Owens, Shawn Michaels, Kenny Omega, Norman Smiley, X-Pac … you name them, they’ve probably been on Jericho’ podcast.

Jericho’s not the guy he was when he first got to WWE in the ring because Father Time is unbeaten in this game, but he’s been just as entertaining on the mic and with social media. He gets it. It’s entertainment. He’s just as entertaining on Twitter as he is when he’s clowning Kevin Owens for wearing a Y2J shirt as a kid.

Don’t be a stupid idiot. Make sure you’re following The Millennium Man on Twitter. It’s worth it.
