Come on over, kids. Let Uncle Mike tell you the story about Bill Goldberg before he became WWE Universal Champion that you see today.

A long time ago, in a defunct wrestling company far, far away, there was a man named Bill Goldberg and he beat everybody. I’m not exaggerating. He beat EVERYBODY. He won 173 matches in a row on television for WCW, including matches over Raven for the United States Championship and then over Hollywood Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship on the July 6, 1998 episode of Monday Nitro. That was peak WCW. Goldberg dominated.

Sure, you’ve probably seen the clips of him in WWE in the early 2000s after some time away. But, that’s not the Goldberg that took over the wrestling world.

Also, he’s a good tweeter, too. (Shoutout to the fans that aren’t weird when it comes to talking to performers on Twitter.)

The big reason why Goldberg made this list was because he interacts with tons of fans seemingly everyday. The best follows when it comes to sports and entertainment as a whole are the ones that tweet and speak with fans from all over.

There’s no telling how long Goldberg will be back in the ring, but it’s good to have him back around the wrestling scene. He was one of the hottest commodities in wrestling in the latter part of the 1990s and although it’s crazy to have him back in the ring, we’ve gotten reminders that he’s still one of the best to watch and a solid tweeter.
