No. 27: “The Machine Gun” Karl Anderson (WWE)

Twitter handle: @KarlAndersonWWE

Here’s the story of how I first heard of “The Machine Gun” Karl Anderson a few years back: I was randomly catching up on Art of Wrestling podcasts from Colt Cabana (more on him later in the broadcast) and I saw that Bullet Club was the scheduled guest of Cabana’s.

I was like, “OK, I’ve heard of these guys. Let’s see what this one’s about.” Cabana was hosting a podcast in Japan with Doc Gallows — or Festus in WWE if that’s how you remember him — and Karl Anderson. If you’re confused about which Good Brother is which, Anderson is the one with the #HotAsianWife. (No, seriously. That’s her hashtag.)

Let’s just put it this way: I’m still laughing about this podcast episode (that didn’t come too long after that famous podcast with Cabana and CM Punk). These three together were hilarious the entire time and I was laughing out in public because Anderson, Cabana and Gallows were that comical. The language isn’t something for the kids to listen to, but it’s worth your time. It’s that funny.

Anderson and Gallows became a world renowned tag team in New Japan Pro Wrestling and now, they’re the tag team title-holders on Monday Night RAW. It’s been a hell of journey for Anderson, who became a star with the Bullet Club with Gallows, former Universal Champion Finn Balor, former WWE Champion AJ Styles, Kenny Omega and many others along the way.

Following Anderson’s Twitter account brings back some great memories for him and for fans and occasionally, he’ll retweet some of it.
