3) Oregon to change uniforms every quarter

Oregon had a rough year last season. They had to fire a coach for the first time since the ’70s and the whole shine of their wacky uniforms is starting to lose effect. They had some good ones, sure, but now that everybody expects them to change once a game there isn’t really anything special about it anymore. Those uniforms have been a huge part of why Oregon is able to recruit as well as they do and they can’t afford to lose that edge. Especially as other schools across the country are starting to adopt similar styles.

So, what’s Oregon to do? They could go back to just having a three to four different uniforms per season and change them for big games. A more conservative style might allow fans and recruits to appreciate the uniforms they do design instead of just treating them as one-offs. Or they could just go all in and change uniforms every single quarter. That idea sounds a lot more fun and fitting.

Think about it. First quarter Oregon comes out in the style they made popular in the early 2010s, but then they all change on the sidelines to reveal a new uniform at the start of the second. This will keep opposing teams completely off guard and confused. The image they had been so used to seeing just changed from all white to a full neon green and it’s not easy on the eyes. By the time they’ve adjusted that lightning quick Willie Taggart offense has already put up 30 points.
