Haason Reddick

Edge, Temple

The Indianapolis Colts have one of the best young quarterbacks in football, but there has been way too much losing as of late. While Andrew Luck continues to do a great job under center, he just does not have a lot of talent around him. The offensive line was atrocious last year, and while the Colts may very well pick up an offensive tackle with this pick, we feel adding to the defense is the No. 1 priority this April.

The Colts have already done some nice things with the defense this offseason, bringing in defensive end Jabaal Sheard, and cornerback John Simon. They also brought in linebacker Sean Spence, making the unit much improved over last season. With the No. 15 pick, we like the team to take Haason Reddick, who would give them a stellar pass rusher to add to a defense that may surprise people next season.

Reddick is a freak of a physical specimen, and would give the Colts their best pass rusher since Dwight Freeney. While he did not get much national exposure playing for Temple, which is not really known for football, he did wow scouts at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Colts will likely go with an offensive lineman in the second round, but having a solid defense in the AFC South next season is going to be key.
