O.J. Howard

TE, Alabama

The Tennessee Titans have some solid weapons of the offensive side of the ball, but none more important than quarterback Marcus Mariota. The team made Mariota the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and since then, he has blossomed into one of the best young arms in the league. He took a huge step forward last season despite having some mediocre players at wide receiver, but thankfully, his tight end continued to produce.

That tight end, Delanie Walker, is still a very productive player, but he is 33-years old. The Titans need to think about what to do when he is done playing, and O.J. Howard would definitely be a nice answer. While the Titans could go with a wide receiver with one of their two first round picks, we think Howard could have that same impact from the tight end position next season.

Playing at Alabama, Howard was not used a lot, but showed his worth in the biggest games. The MVP of the 2016 National Championship Game, Howard has the size and speed to spread out the defense, and would give the Titans the best tight end in the AFC South. Some mocks have him going as early as No. 4  to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but we like him towards the middle of the first round, landing with their divisional rival.
