Tre'Davious White

CB, LSU

The Green Bay Packers had a magical run through the second half of the 2016 NFL season, coming all the way back to win the NFC North on the final day of the regular season. In the playoffs, the Packers made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game, but were shredded by Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. This team needs help in the secondary, and Tre’Davious White can provide an instant upgrade at cornerback.

White is the kind of cornerback who can take away one half of the field, and he is built to be an impact player right now. He not only has great feet, but tremendous instincts, enabling him to make up ground when he loses his man in coverage. During his time with LSU, he proved to be a leader on their defense, teaming with Jamal Adams to give the Tigers one heck of a defensive backfield.

The Packers are going to be good once again in 2017, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still one of the elite passers in the game. Green Bay needs help at the running back position as well, but there are a handful of names they could get late in the second round. They could certainly go for a guy like T.J. Watt here, but their need for secondary help far outweighs their need to bring in a pass rusher at this point.
