High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan – Toronto Raptors ($8500): Toronto needs a win tonight and DeRozan is almost a cinch to get to 45 FP tonight. He’ll start opposite Monta Ellis, and if that’s who guards for the majority of his minutes he will go past 50 tonight. Toronto should dominate the boards against the weak-rebounding Pacers, so DeRo could get more points there too.

Klay Thompson – Golden State Warriors ($7100): Klay Thompson at home against a Rockets team that played last night? Please and thank you. Oddly enough Klay has not shot the ball well against Houston this season, but I think you have to love this matchup tonight. I’ll be surprised if Klay doesn’t get to 40 or more FP against a Houston club that allows a ton of points.

Nicolas Batum – Charlotte Hornets ($6900): Super spicy matchup alert: Batum gets the woeful Nuggets tonight and you best believe they’ll be getting after it while they a sliver of hope left for a playoff spot. I did not mention Kemba in the point guard section, but I could see where a contrarian stack of Kemba and Batum could be a solid play. Most people will be on Klay and DeMar, so Batum could make for a nice pivot.

Jrue Holiday – New Orleans Pelicans ($6700): I think the Kings/Pelicans game will exceed the Vegas total of 210, and Holiday has a reasonable salary against a team he dropped a 50 FP game on earlier this year. There aren’t a lot of high-priced shooting guards on the board tonight, so Jrue is in play with a solid matchup against the Kings.
