Sidney Crosby scored after bouncing a puck off Henrik Lundqvist’s mask.

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby is the best player in the NHL. Heck, he’s the best hockey player in the world. Crosby can do crazy things most players can only dream of. Not only does he possess elite skill, he also tends to get all the bounces to go his way.

Against the New York Rangers on Friday March 31, Sid the Kid scored one of his most impressive goals. He shot the puck from behind the goal line and still scored because he banked the shot off of Henrik Lundqvist’s mask.

Crosby could make a ton of money hustling pool if he can make shots like this. Remember how you could bounce the ball off your opponent’s head in NBA Street? This goal is the real life version of that.

Lundqvist guards the post well, but he gives Crosby a little bit at the top. If you give Sid the Kid an inch, he’ll go a mile with it. He certainly does in this case. It’s been that kind of season for Lundqvist, who is having his worst season as a professional. His .911 save percentage is the lowest of his career. At 35 years old, Lundqvist is finally starting to show his age. Time gets the best of everyone, including King Henrik.

With this goal, Crosby leads the NHL with 43 goals. He’s looking to win his second Maurice Richard Trophy as the league’s top goal scorer. However, this would be the first one he’s won by himself. Technically, he shared the 2009-10 award with Steven Stamkos, as both had 51 goals. It’s playoff time, so naturally Crosby’s heating up. He’s looking to get the Penguins their fifth Stanley Cup title and the third of his career.
