High Value C

Meyers Leonard – Portland Trailblazers ($3000): With Jusuf Nurkic out, the Blazers will turn to offensive-minded center Leonard to start. Leonard has averaged about 17 FP per game against the Suns this season over 20 minutes, but it’s unknown how much court time he will get tonight. He got 21 minutes against Minnesota and only registered six FP, so it’s not done deal that he will hit value tonight. But at the minimum salary he’s definitely worth a shot.

Alex Len – Phoenix Suns ($5600): If I can get 20-25 minutes from Len against Meyers Leonard, I’ll gladly take it. But Len gets into foul trouble and sometimes gets less than 20 minutes even though he starts. Still, it’s just too tasty to resist and Len has done well against the Blazers this season. I’ll have my share of him in my lineups tonight.

Ersan Ilyasova – Atlanta Hawks ($5900): Ilyasova has fared very well against the Bulls this season averaging 37.5 FP over two games. He’s getting plenty of run with Paul Millsap sidelined, and he posted games of 38 and 32 FP before a subpar 24.5 against Philly last time out. He hits threes, contributes on the boards and he’s going to get minutes. He’s a very solid play tonight at $5900, and he can play center too.

Willie Cauley-Stein – Sacramento Kings ($5700): Cauley-Stein has been in the 20s and low-30s since his epic 51.5 FP game against Phoenix a few weeks ago. I think the price tag is too high, but it’s there because he can go high on occasion. He can be played at either power forward or center, so there is some maneuverability with him, but I’ll probably spend up a bit for Mirotic or Dieng.

Kosta Koufos – Sacramento Kings ($3300): All signs point to Koufos resuming his place in the starting lineup tonight. If that’s the case then he’s a solid play at just $3300, assuming he gets his fair share of minutes. This might be a bit tricky with with the Kings out of it and auditioning younger players, but keep an eye out for that news.

Robin Lopez – Chicago Bulls ($4600): Cristiano Felicio is available to play tonight so I don’t know that Lopez will get quite the playing time he has of late. But he has received 12 and 13 shots in his last two games and he is a decent rebounder. Lopez even went as high as 43.5 last week, so he has seen increase in usage of late with Felicio out.

Next: Was Jusuf Nurkic always this good?
