High Priced SF

T.J. Warren – Phoenix Suns ($7000): I like Warren tonight because of his matchup against Portland and because he gets right around 15 or more shots per game. Posting mid-40s FP games seems to be the norm for Warren, and his ceiling can go a bit higher on occasion. Portland will also be softer in the middle with Jusuf Nurkic out and Meyers Leonard at center. I’d be surprised if he didn’t get to 40 FP tonight.

Jimmy Butler – Chicago Bulls ($9600): As I noted earlier, Jimmy hit a lull late last month but he’s been dropping high-40 FP games as well as some HAM totals like 68.75 against the Sixers last week. He’s averaging just about 50 FP per game against the Hawks this season, and his ceiling goes very high. Jimmy makes for a solid GPP play tonight.

Andrew Wiggins – Minnesota Timberwolves ($7200): Wiggins is mainly a points-based player meaning he doesn’t offer much by way of peripheral stats like boards and assists, but he can have a high ceiling from time to time. A matchup with the Kings would seem to lend itself to that, but Wiggins hasn’t fared that well against them this season. I think Wig will be low owned tonight, so he could be a nice pivot off Jimmy or T.J. if you don’t go value at small forward.

Those are the only three high-priced small forwards on the slate tonight, so let’s check out the value at small forward tonight.
