High Value PF

Aaron Gordon – Orlando Magic ($5500): Gordon went from being questionable before last night’s game with a sore shoulder to being one of the top DFS scorers of the night. Simply nuts. He had 62.5 FP last night with 32 points and 16 rebounds and tonight gets a solid matchup against the Nets. I think we’d all be shocked if Gordon even went past 40 tonight, but somewhere near value and around 30 FP seems reasonable.

Ersan Ilyasova – Atlanta Hawks ($5900): Ilyasova has fared very well against the Bulls this season averaging 37.5 FP over two games. He’s getting plenty of run with Paul Millsap sidelined, and he posted games of 38 and 32 FP before a subpar 24.5 against Philly last time out. He hits threes, contributes on the boards and he’s going to get minutes. He’s a very solid play tonight at $5900, and he can play center too.

Willie Cauley-Stein – Sacramento Kings ($5700): Cauley-Stein has been in the 20s and low-30s since his epic 51.5 FP game against Phoenix a few weeks ago. I think the price tag is too high, but it’s there because he can go high on occasion. He can be played at either power forward or center, so there is some maneuverability with him, but I’ll probably spend up a bit for Mirotic or Dieng.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson – Brooklyn Nets ($5600): RHJ is probably a bit overpriced too, but he has shown a high ceiling from time to time. But he is a more stable play than earlier in the year now that he is starting and getting regular minutes. His range has been in the 28-32 FP area for the last week, so he could offer about 6x value tonught.
