Damontae Kazee

Cornerback, San Diego State

The Green Bay Packers defense needs more playmakers. They’ll be getting one of the highest upside corners in the draft in the fifth round here. Damontae Kazee has 15 interceptions over his past two seasons at San Diego State. He can also provide a ton of value as a returner. Kazee should step in and replace Micah Hyde, whose versatility was valuable to them.

Ben Gedeon

Linebacker, Michigan

Ben Gedeon should add some toughness and versatility down the middle for the Green Bay Packers. He’s an excellent run stopper, putting up 94 tackles in 2016. Gedeon also proved to be valuable as a pass rusher, putting up 4.5 sacks. At 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds, he has excellent size and could step in as an immediate starter.

K.D. Cannon

Wide Receiver, Baylor

K.D. Cannon is the kind of receiver who should thrive with the Green Bay Packers. He has an extensive route knowledge, having played for Baylor and their spread offense. Cannon excels with hook routes and screens, both of which Rodgers likes. He has excellent hands and could provide a lot of value as a slot receiver.

Xavier Woods

Safety, Lousiana Tech

Xavier Woods gives the Packers some much needed safety depth. Their safeties play a very important role in their defense. He shares a lot of similarities with Morgan Burnett, their starting strong safety. Both are tenacious defenders who might not have outstanding measurements, but still get things done.
