Alex Anzalone

Linebacker, Florida

With the front addressed, and a safety added, the Lions now look for linebacker help. Anzalone is a fast linebacker who can play sideline to sideline and is not afraid to stick his nose in the running game. The issue for Anzalone has been health. He has only played 18 games in four seasons. However, when healthy he profiles as a second round linebacker. He may be able to compete for snaps right away next to Tahir Whitehead, and if he can stay healthy will be an absolute steal for the Lions at this point in the draft.

Isaac Asiata

Guard, Utah

The one spot on the Lions offensive line with the biggest question mark is right guard. While the team drafted Laken Tomlinson in the first round just two years ago he has hardly panned out. He has been benched before, and while his spot has not been addressed this offseason, he is already competing for snaps with Graham Glasgow. Asiata is a power right guard and an additional name to throw in the mix as Glasgow is a natural center anyways.

Deatrich Wise

Defensive End, Arkansas

The Lions go back to the well in a deep edge class and hope to hit on two stud defenders out there. Wise has limited experience, and still has some strength to add to play on the end in the NFL. Still, he has great speed and quickness and is another play who can see time on special teams. If the Lions can walk away from 2017 with a rotation of Charlton, Ansah, Hyder and Wise they will have made out in a major way.

Jeremy Clark

Cornerback, Michigan

One last Michigan player to take in the seventh round to keep this trend going. Clark is raw but has the ideal height, weight and arm length to be an outside cornerback in the NFL. He can provide special teams, or be a practice squad player while is groomed up for a chance to see defensive snaps in the NFL.
