5 reasons Gonzaga will return to the Final Four
Top Notch Recruiting Classes
If you’ve ever been to Spokane, Washington, you know it’s not the most exciting place in the world, though the Davenport Hotel makes an overnight trip worthwhile.
Mark Few doesn’t need a flashy city like Los Angeles to sell Gonzaga to recruits. He has his pick of top recruits and he clearly knows how to develop them into the solid players we see every year.
The 2018 recruiting class is no different. There are two top recruits coming into Gonzaga’s program this year: Corey Kispert and Jesse Wade.
Corey Kispert spend his senior year with a broken foot, but he’d confident that he’s going to be primed and ready to attend summer classes at Gonzaga so he can get acclimated with the program. Kispert was the MVP of the Washington State basketball tournament in 2016 and was recently named a Class 1A player of the year before the injury cut his senior campaign short.
Jesse Wade is one of Gonzaga’s top recruits and he’s coming to the program following the conclusion of his two-year LDS mission in Lyon, France. Wade was rated an ESPN.com three star recruit out of Davis High School near Salt Lake City. He’s excited to come back and make an impact for the Zags in 2018.
There’s no shortage of talent in the pipeline for Gonzaga. Mark Few has done a great job looking ahead and filling the gaps so that the team will remain successful no matter who appears on the roster. It’s for all of these reasons that Gonzaga will return to the Final Four in 2018.
