2017 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears 7-round mock
After the season, Chicago could lose three defensive tackles to free agency. Glasgow prepares them for this as one of the better run stuffers in the this draft. While his weight isn’t ideal (just 302 pounds), his 6-foot-3 frame and 33 3/8 inch arm length gives him an edge against blockers. Glasgow has excellent moves in the interior and is a relentless worker. He rarely takes a play off and can pound away at blockers. However, Glasgow is likely limited to two downs, as his pass rushing is subpar. He’d be a great pick here, as the Bears need more leaders like him on their defense.

While the Bears already have Zach Miller, who put up 486 receiving yards in eight games last season, he’s a free agent after the season. They also lack a huge tight end to serve as a red zone target. Michael Roberts from Toledo can fill both of those roles. He’s one of the largest tight ends in the draft, standing at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds. Roberts is a bit of a project, but his physical tools are worth gambling on. He could be a great red zone target, as he can be a bit of a nightmare to cover thanks to his athleticism.
