High Salary PG

John Wall – Washington Wizards ($9900): Wall has just been outstanding this year, certainly his best as a pro. The Wizards still need to win to try to overtake Toronto for the three-seed, and they have an outside chance at the two. Wall has averaged just about 50 FP per game against New York this season, but tonight he gets to abuse Ron Baker. The only concern here is blowout potential, and that’s a reasonable concern.

Damien Lillard – Portland Trailblazers ($8800): The Nuggets loss last night helps, but the Blazers still need to win to maintain the eighth seed in the West. Lillard has not shot the ball well the last two games, but tonight he’s back home in Portland and I expect a total of 50 FP or higher as he takes on Ricky Rubio and the Timberwolves.

C.J. McCollum – Portland Trailblazers ($6900): McCollum has dominated the Timberwolves this year averaging 46 FP over three games while shooting 62 percent. You can say he really likes this matchup. As I mentioned with Lillard, the Blazers need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive and McCollum could prove to be a steal at just $6900.

Elfrid Payton – Orlando Magic ($7700): Payton has shown better stability in his numbers over the second half but can still dip into the 20s on some nights. But tonight that doesn’t concern me since he’s playing the Nets, a team he just scorched for a triple-double worth 56.25 FP.
