Corey Davis

WR, Western Michigan

The Arizona Cardinals head into the 2017 season with high expectations, as quarterback Carson Palmer is going to return for another shot at the title. Palmer and his Cardinals teammates had an up and down season in 2016, as they failed to make the playoffs after making it to the NFC Championship Game the year before. They have some solid pieces in place to make a run next season, though they need to bring in some more weapons on offense.

Palmer is getting up there in age, and some believe the team will take a quarterback with this pick. However, based on their moves this offseason, the Cardinals are looking to win now, and bringing in a quality wide receiver would be a smart move. Corey Davis is arguably the best wide receiver in this draft class, and he would fit in perfectly in Arizona next season.

Arizona already signed tight end Jermaine Gresham for next season, and have done a nice job bolstering their defense. With Larry Fitzgerald getting up there in age, and former star Michael Floyd long gone, the Cards need their next big wide receiver. Davis would get to spend at least a year learning from Fitzgerald, before moving into their WR1 spot for the 2018 season.
