Garett Bolles

OT, Utah

Throughout the entire Tony Romo saga, the Denver Broncos stood by the company line that they were content with who they had at quarterback. Trevor Siemian did a nice job in his first year as the team’s starter in 2016, but he is going to have some serious competition this preseason. The team spent a first round pick on Paxton Lynch in 2016, and he is going to get every opportunity to start in 2017.

No matter who is under center, the fact of the matter is that they need help on the offensive line. While the running back position is also weak, the fact that they are soft up front has to be a concern. Garett Bolles of Utah is a physical specimen on the offensive line, and he would slide right into the starting lineup at one of the offensive tackle positions next season in Denver.

The Broncos have an elite defensive unit once again, despite the fact that DeMarcus Ware retired this offseason. Denver is going to get stops, but the AFC West is way too good to go into the year with a suspect offensive line. Expect them to draft a tackle this month, and with Russell Okung gone to Los Angeles, there is a huge void that needs to be filled via the draft.
