DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 7
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook – OKC Thunder ($14000): $14K looks like a reasonable price these days for Westbrook, especially against the Phoenix Suns. Here are Westbrook’s fantasy point totals for the three games he’s played against them this season: 89.75, 81.25, 89.75. He even went for over 80 against the slow-paced, solid defense of the Grizzlies in his last game. He’s the DFS King. Roll him out.
Kyrie Irving – Cleveland Cavaliers ($7700): Cleveland still needs to win to hang on to the top seed in the East, and Irving definitely has Dennis Schroeder and the Hawks’ number this year. He’s averaged 36 points over two games for a total of 109 fantasy points. Cleveland is also back home after a quick trip to Boston. Irving is an excellent play tonight.
Tyler Ulis – Phoenix Suns ($7100): Ulis is perfect for the ultra-fast pace of Russell Westbrook and the Thunder. He’s yet to play a full game against them, but he will tonight. He’ll get to do it at home where he shoots the ball considerably better. He dropped 60 on Houston earlier in the week and he’s been steadily pumping out 40+ FP games. I like Russ and Kyrie better tonight, but I’ll find some lineup spots for the rookie.
Jrue Holiday – New Orleans Pelicans ($7500): I initially thought of putting Mike Conley here, but I think Memphis blows out the Knicks tonight and Conley will have reduced minutes. Instead, I’m recommending Holiday, who can be played at the point or shooting guard. He just went off for a double-double worth 47.5 against Denver and it looks as if Boogie might sit tonight. If that’s the case, Jrue could be in for some big numbers.
