High Salary SF

Kevin Durant – Golden State Warriors ($8700): It feels good to type Durant’s name again, and I think we are all excited to see him back in the lineup tonight, and not just from a DFS point of view. Steve Kerr said no minutes restriction tonight for KD, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will play 35 minutes. Even if he gets somewhere in the 28-30 range he should be worth it with Stephen Curry out. He’ll be highly-owned but he also might go for a big total.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – Milwaukee Bucks ($9800): I noted earlier that Giannis will play full minutes with the Bucks needing a win to keep their playoff spot. They’ve lost three straight games, which is not exactly the best way to make or enter the playoffs. Giannis has a sweet matchup against Philly tonight and you have to figure he’s going to look to assert himself. It was just last week that he threw down games of 74 and 64 FP, and if he has one more of those in him you’d think it would come tonight against the Sixers.

Kawhi Leonard – San Antonio Spurs ($8800): It remains to be seen how many minutes Kawhi will play tonight. We are simply at that point of the year where minutes are sketchy for any team that does not need to win. The Spurs are locked into the two seed, so Kawhi might not get full run tonight. But I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention him here because if he does play 30 or minutes he’s going to be worth it. Ack, bring on the playoffs!

Gordon Hayward – Utah Jazz ($7200): Hayward went off for 55 FP on Minnesota last night, again getting 20 shot attempts with George Hill out. That’s back to back games over 40 for Gordo, and he gets a decent matchup tonight in the Blazers, who like to push the pace. He’s averaged 41 per game against Portland this year, so it looks like full steam ahead for Hayward again tonight.
