High Value SF

Timothe Luwawu-Caborrot – Philadelphia 76ers ($5900): TLC has come on strong since given increased playing time. He could be an excellent value play if he could connect on a few more shots per game. He’s seeing heavy minutes and getting close to 15 shots a night, so the usage is there. We’ll see if he can boost his fantasy point totals tonight against the Bucks.

Justin Anderson – Philadelphia 76ers ($4700): Dario Saric will remain on a minutes restriction and Covington remains out so Anderson will continue to see solid playing time. He hasn’t posted any big games lately like he did when he first got to the Sixers, but he did have a 32.5game against Cleveland last week. But he’s been getting 30 or so minutes per game and should be right around value with a small chance of exceeding value.

Solomon Hill – New Orleans Pelicans ($4000): With both Davis and Cousins out could Hill post one more monster game? His usage will certainly be increased tonight so he’s worth a shot in that regard. You’d hope for at least 30 in such a situation but Hill isn’t a reliable source of fantasy points.

Evan Turner – Portland Trailblazers ($3600): I mentioned earlier that Turner has had four straight games of 20 or more FP and he remains very reasonably priced at just $3600. He should see about 25 minutes tonight in a game Portland badly needs to win. He’s averaged a bit over 20 FP per game against the Jazz this season, so he looks like an excellent value play tonight.

Allen Crabbe – Portland Trailblazers ($4200): Crabbe has stepped it up of late and has two games of 30 FP or higher in the last week, including a killer 41.25 effort against the Timberwolves on Friday. He is a volatile play though and he’s up against the Jazz tonight, so don’t be surprised if he ends up in the teens. Still, he has to be considered for GPP tourneys.
