Luis Severino

P,

The New York Yankees are in the midst of a youth movement, and they are counting on Luis Severino to be one of the pieces they can rely on in the future. So far, during his short time in the Major Leagues, Severino has been highly inconsistent, and it is worrisome for some Yankees fans. However, he has all the tools to be a very successful player at the highest level of baseball, and with more innings, should come better results.

This season, Severino is going to be asked to take the ball at least 30 times for the Yankees, who should get better as the year goes on. He had a very nice spring, showing the kind of pop on his fastball that made him a top prospect in the Yankees organization. He is someone you should definitely look to add to your roster in fantasy baseball, as he is going to make some fantastic starts along the way.

With the way this Yankees team is built, it is going to be feast or famine every night. Luckily for Severino, he has the stuff to carry the team when the bats aren’t working. He is going to get his fair share of strikeouts, and he should have some quality starts along the way, so it is definitely worth plugging him in for the first couple of months and see how he produces in his third season in the big leagues.
