Tyler Saladino

2B/SS,

The players who play shortstop and second base in fantasy baseball have added value, and Tyler Saladino of the Chicago White Sox has eligibility in both positions. The man with the mustache has the potential to be a very productive player at the Major League level, and he is going to get that opportunity this season. The White Sox may struggle to plate runs in 2017, but Saladino should definitely play a big part in whatever success they do have this season.

At 27 years old, Saladino is entering his prime, and he could end up being a 20/20 guy who plays the middle infield. That is some fantastic production, and you can grab him in nearly ever league right now. He showed the ability to hit doubles in limited action last season, while also finishing the year with eight home runs. Add to that the fact he swiped 11 bases, and you have a guy you can plug in on nearly a nightly basis.

He will be a full-time player this season, which is going to be very telling as to the kind of player he is going to be. He got a good taste of Major League ball last season, and showed that he can produce when given the opportunity. He is going to hit all over the White Sox lineup, but if he does find himself in the two-hole, which is where he would be best suited, you can be sure he will be scoring a lot of runs with Jose Abreu hitting behind him.
