Alex Anzalone

Linebacker, Florida

At the linebacker position, Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David are inserted in as starters. However, behind them, there is no depth, and at weak side linebacker, Daryl Smith is a free agent. Smith is 35, and it may be better to go young and cheap to fill the hole. Anzalone is a player who-who would easily be a top 100 pick on tape. However, he has only played 18 games in four years with the Gators leaving a plethora of injury concerns.

The Bucs will run a lot of nickel, which means it likely will just need to be David and Alexander next to each other. It sets up a smaller role, but a role that will see snaps for Anzalone next season. He can play and display his high caliber of talent and the same time should not get worn down to the point where he may get injured.

Davon Godchaux

Defensive Tackle, LSU

Behind Gerald McCoy, the Bucs are still looking for some rotational help. They do not have any answers long-term currently, and in the sixth round, Godchaux is worth a shot. He is not overly explosive but is technically sound and smart which should give him a chance for rotational snaps in the immediate future.

Robert Davis

Wide Receiver, Georgia State

With most positions locked up, they shoot for a high upside play at wide receiver in Robert Davis. Davis comes from a small school in Georgia State. Still, he is 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, and dominated his competition in college. At the worst, he is a hard worker who helps on special teams. At best, he takes some snaps on the outside in the next few years, and in four years he may make life after DeSean Jackson a touch easier.
